Well-deserved recognition for dedicated local Lions volunteers on Australia Day
Volunteers often work quietly behind the scenes without recognition, but three (3) local volunteers have received some very well-deserved acknowledgement for decades of community service.
The following Lion members have been volunteering for decades and on Australia Day, they were presented with an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in recognition for the difference they have made in the community.
- Ray Norton (Gilles Plains Lions Club)
- Noel O’Brien (Glenside Lions Club)
- Stuart Paxton (Gilbert Valley Lions Club)
Their dedication, passion, and tireless efforts have not only made a significant impact on our local community, but have also touched countless lives.
Thank you for embodying the true spirit of service and for being shining examples of what it means to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
We are proud to have you as members of the Lions family, and we celebrate your achievements with immense gratitude.
